Governors' Award
The Silver Circle Ceremony will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Vanderbilt Hotel, Salón Dorado.
As part of this special evening, we will present the Suncoast Chapter Governors’ Award to Raymond Arrieta.
The Silver Circle recognizes individuals who have devoted a quarter of a century or more to the television industry, a significant part of which was done in the Suncoast region of the State of Florida, Mobile, Alabama, the State of Louisiana and Puerto Rico television markets
The Governors’ Award recognizes excellence in people, cable, media and/or television entities. It is not given every year. The candidate must receive a favorable vote of no less than 4/5th of the Board. It recognizes those persons, or entities who would not otherwise be eligible to win a Suncoast Regional EMMY® Award but are worthy of recognition for the quality of their contributions to the Suncoast region.
